In this class we will be making two small bags, a Japanese Knot Bag and a Pyramid Pouch.
The Japanese Knot Bag is a fully reversible bag with a flat base so that it can stand upright. The bag will be the right size for storing a pair of socks on the go, or for your phone, keys and wallet.
The coordinating Pyramid Pouch is a small zipped and 3D container making it easy to see what’s inside and is perfect for storing stitch markers and other notions or just for small change.
These bags are great for projects and notions if you are, or you know, a knitter or crocheter as well as for nights out and for presenting other gifts.
You will need to bring two half metres of quilting weight cotton and 100m of machine sewing thread.
We will supply the sewing machines, zips and wadding as well as light refreshments and full instructions.
Your tutor for this class will be Ana Dugdale. Ana is a City and Guilds qualified tutor with extensive sewing experience particularly in the field of patchwork and quilting.
